Dominate flavors, textures, richness, and complexity were the themes of a recent presentation by 13 Italian winemakers. 

The presenters shared the qualities of their individual vineyards, emphasizing the styles and utmost passion that are the keys to their great wines, all Amarone Della Valpolicella.  Highlighted characteristics were sunlight, soils, locations, maintaining the right temperatures and a deep understanding of the finest natural ingredients. 

Wine connoisseur Lyn Farmer introduced each wine expert to the audience at the Miami Dade College Culinary School and emphasized the time-honored tradition of the Italian ‘gold standard’ wines.
