The commission and premiere of El Sol Caliente celebrated the centennial of the City of Miami Beach in the state-of-the-art, practice and ensemble rooms of the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center recently. The City has supported the New World Symphony since its founding 27 years ago and has been a collaborative partner in the development of the New World Center.
