BALEENkitchen is located at 17315 Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach, Fl. 33160, sandwiched in-between some high scale luxury condos that will no doubt have neighborhood guests dining at Baleen often because… it’s so good and convenient.
Over 300 guests gathered recently to celebrate the official grand opening of Beleenkitchen (in the Sole Ocean Noble House Resort). Baleenkitchen has returned to South Florida to reintroduce itself to the City of Sunny Isles. They offer a globally inspired and locally serviced dining outpost where guests will enjoy specialty drinks and savory bites. Best part is the oceanfront wrap-around-balcony, where if one were so inclined one can watch the moon making its nightly appearance over the Atlantic Ocean.
We were greeted by two handsome gentlemen who filled our glasses (Veuve Champagne $12 Happy Hour prices) meticulously through an ice sculpture. Such an elegant touch. Signature bites soon followed as well as Moscow Mules ($9 Happy Hour prices and select wines choices also $9 per glass).
The decor is modern, artistic and beach-contemporary. They do have a wine ‘gallery” and other amenities that will entice guests to stop by and clink glasses. The dishes are creative. The wait staff is exceptional and guests will no doubt enjoy fun and delicious times in this playful new restaurant. Valet parking is another enjoyable amenity. Great new place at the right time.
