You probably don’t know this and most food writers probably won’t readily admit to it, but…sometimes we find an unbeatable little restaurant that conjures up some good dishes and we really don’t want to write about it.  Not because it isn’t great.  Not because it isn’t affordable and delightful. But because if we let you know about this little diamond of a restaurant, you’ll follow our advice and go taste the yummies.  And where does that leave us?  Yearning for a table in our delicious treasure find,which will no longer be available because of you. It’s a tough call but… oh well.

Beginning July 9, George's in the Grove is re-introducing $5 Wednesdays. All premium cocktails are just $5 every Wednesday and from 7 p.m. until close, the evening is paired with the subtle mixture of captivating lounge-style rhythms played by DJ Ethics. 

Complimentary champagne will also be offered to ladies throughout the night.

South Florida’s popular “Jungle”attraction has recently programmed a troop of 12 very talented African performers from Cirque Zuma Zuma.  Included in the price of admission, be prepared to enjoy well-rehearsed acrobatic entertainment as seen on the hit TV series, America’s Got Talent. Zuma performers will dazzle visitors with human pyramids, Zulu dancers, pole climbers, percussionists and high-powered music.  Each day, Jungle Island features impressive shows every 15 minutes starting at 2 p.m., and with a grand finale beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Parrot Bowl.

David Bracha, owner and executive chef of Oak Tavern the Design District’s popular neighborhood hangout, is celebrating the arrival of summer in style with the debut of “Under the Oak” Live Music Summer Series. Every Saturday evening from 11 p.m. – 2 a.m., Oak Tavern’s charming interior courtyard will become center stage for a roster of local and international musicians, with music including Afro Cuban beats and Latin jazz, as well as the musical stylings of singer/songwriters. To accompany the sounds, Bracha will offer a late night menu to accompany the Oak’s classic and tavern cocktails, wine and beer selections. There is no additional music charge.
