Vintro Hotel + Kitchen, a new luxury boutique hotel and restaurant, is a hidden treasure off the beaten path in South Beach, nestled near the Bass Museum and Miami City Ballet’s studios.  The hotel’s décor is a combo of vintage and retro, thus the name Vintro. Featuring 50 deluxe rooms and a lovely rooftop terrace with an infinity pool, the hotel is rated in the top 25 hotels in TripAdvisor’s 2015 Traveler’s Choice awards.

This fun eatery is always a good place to plant your bum and just enjoy the creative atmosphere.  We arrived at about 8:00 p.m. on a Wednesday and were looking forward to tasting this year’s $39, 4-course Spice menu.

September to honor French directors, Claude Sautet and Marcel Carné. Included in the program are two restored classics by Carné as well as a series of Sautet's best films, spanning his career from 1970 to 1995.This homage to French cinema will close with the Miami exclusive Première presentation of Mélanie Laurent’s Breath.
