Ni.Do Caffe is an authentic Italian trattoria featuring classic Italian dishes, pizzas, pastas, and a sommelier-curated list of sustainable wines.

Starting on October 14, Ni.Do. Caffe in Miami Shores is offering a hands-on mozzarella making experience at 7pm on the second Wednesday of every month. The mozzarella classes will also take place on November 11 and December 9.

Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco at the bar where you mingle with your classmates. The class is held in a private dining room around a large table, where you don special gloves and an apron for the mozzarella making process. Ni.Do’s Executive Chef Claudio Sandri, a former Iron Chef competitor, teaches you how to stretch and mold cheese curds in a bowl of hot water until they change into creamy mozzarella balls—all while you’re enjoying a glass of red or white wine.

After completing your mozzarella ball, you’re seated at an adjoining communal table with your classmates and served a deluxe spread of antipasti. The delicious offerings include mixed olives, cherry tomatoes, Italian cold cuts, including Parma ham, Soppressata, and Salame Cacciatorino, plus Sicilian Caponata and focaccia bread to accompany your freshly made mozzarella. You can linger over another glass of wine as you get to know your classmates. By the end of the evening, you’re exchanging business cards with your new friends.

Classes are $65 (not including tax and gratuity) for the class, antipasti, Prosecco and wine.  For reservations call 786.953.5120. Ni.Do also has special cheese making classes for kids. Call for info.
